A few things in the world of hypnotherapy that have caught our eyes this week, which you might find of interest…
World No Tobacco Day
The end of this month (31st May) sees the admirable “World No Tobacco” Day being celebrated. A massive global initiative to help people give up the dreaded cigarettes.
The WHO (World Health Organisation) is behind the campaign.
The organisation has released reports showing that smoking is the single biggest preventable cause of death in the world today – taking nearly 6,000,000 lives every year!
And of course hypnotherapy can be a powerful tool to help you quit smoking, so this global day might be the best day to piggy-back and save your own health.
Procrastination
The famous celebrity figure of UK comediennes – Jennifer Saunders – has recently revealed that she has been using hypnotherapy to overcome the dreaded obstacle of procrastination in her life.
Many people easily link addictions – like smoking and over-eating – to being the obvious perils that hypnotherapy can help with, but less life threatening and equally life debilitating issues like procrastination, or phobias, or insecurity can also be dealt with.
It’s great to see such a well known face admit to her issues and share her experience of using hypnotherapy to assist her.
